Adels Grove

Indarri Falls

Gilbert's Dragon

Happy Father's Day!
We had planned to get to the National Park to do a walk before the heat but we didn't get out of bed till 8am. We walked to the Duwardarri lookout, which was up a steep ridge, for views over the gorge. We had a little bit of reception so we called our dads for Father's Day. It was hot and the kids were feeling it. We continued on to the Indarri Falls lookout which gave us a whole new perspective on yesterday's canoe trip. We saw quite a few lizards called Gilbert's Dragon (also known as 'Ta-Ta' lizard because it waves it's arm) We got back to the van and had lunch at the restaurant. Rick had an afternoon nap (his Father's Day present!) and the kids spent the afternoon swimming in the river. Rick sealed up the vents in the van in preparation for lots of dirt road tomorrow.
