Broome

Mid-morning we went for a stroll through Chinatown which was once home to boarding houses, tailors, brothels, opium dens and gambling joints when Broome was first established as a pearling port in the 1880s. Now the buildings house pearl showrooms, boutiques, cafes and art galleries. We had some lunch and bought a few groceries before heading back to the caravan park for a swim. In the evening we drove down the beach and had a play on the sand. We cooked a BBQ for dinner as we watched the camels travel up and down the beach.
