Cape Range National Park

Caitlin's buddy - little corella

Mandu Mandu Gorge

I went for a walk along the beach which was a good workout in the soft sand. Rick cooked pancakes for breakfast. Mid morning we decided to do the Mandu Mandu gorge walk with two other families - Glen, Rowena, Tim & Daniel and Andrew, Sam, Chloe, Zac & Luke. The 3km trail starts along the dry creek bed and follows the northern ridge of the gorge and was quite challenging in sections. There was no complaining from Caitlin & Cooper as they enjoyed walking with the other kids. We had some lunch and a rest back at the van. Our fridge is starting to look very bare. Later in the afternoon we decided to head over to Lakeside to do another snorkel. The conditions weren't great because it was really windy but we were leaving tomorrow. Rick and I took it in turns as the kids just wanted to play on the beach. The snorkelling was quite different with some large coral bombies and schools of large fish. Rick was lucky enough to have a swim with a green turtle! Back for Happy Hour and a quick shower.
