Jurien Bay

We parked the car and caravan at the visitor centre and walked down to the Batavia Marina to the Museum. It was quite a new building and had a great section on the regions shipwrecks including the HMAS Sydney II. There was an amazing display of artifacts from the Dutch trading ship, Batavia, that became shipwrecked at the Abrolhos Islands in 1629. After a quick food shop we continued further south to Greenough and had lunch at the Historic Settlement. Our next destination was the fishing town of Jurien Bay.
