Kalbarri National Park

We decided to stay another night to give ourselves time to explore the National Park. There were still a few wildflowers in bloom along the roadside. We drove out to the lookout and Natures Window which is a natural rock arch that frames the upstream view. The Murchison River Gorges have been carved over millions of years to form dramatic sandstone cliff faces which overlook the Murchison River as it meanders towards Kalbarri. We continued on to Z-Bend and had lunch in the picnic grounds before doing the 1.2km walk for more amazing gorge views. Back in town the kids had a play at the riverfront and we spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out at the van.
